Remarks: Since July 2018, Austrian plastic packaging company Alpla Group and Fromm Plastics have been cooperating in the PET recycling sector. Fromm Plastics subsidiary Texplast is currently investing around EUR 4.5 million in a third extrusion line that will increase its annual capacity for food-grade PET regranulate by 15,000 tpy, then reaching a total capacity of 27,000 tpy. For doing so, Texplast is building a new hall on the company premises in Bitterfeld-Wolfen, Saxony-Anhalt. The third line is due to be operational in April 2019.
