Remarks: As of February 2020, Specialist for industry packaging Mauser Packaging Solutions has announced to invest around EUR 10 million in its IBC plant in Erkelenz, North Rhine-Westphalia. Investments will be used to expand capacities in the reconditioning of IBC and certificating yet existing production facilities as well as constructing an additional plant for the recycling of industrial plastic. The construction of the new plant began in the end of January 2020 and it is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2020. Plastic recyclates are produced at the Erkelenz site under the brand name "Recolene". These are then processed on site, as well as at numerous other Mauser sites in Europe, into new packaging.
