Remarks: The city of Münster, North-Rhine Westphalia, has repurchased the MBT facility located in the city district of Coerde. In June 2015, city utility AWM took over responsibilities for the plant from waste management company Remondis. AWM will invest EUR 8.5 million in the plant over the next years. Plans provide that from January 2017 on the facility should also treat around 35,000 tons of organic waste. However, the overall plant capacity will remain stable at around 100,000 tons.
